Sardine & Lettuce Salad with Tahini
Seven simple ingredients, five minutes, no stove: Chef Noor layers sardines over chopped lettuce, wakes the plate up with hot pepper, fresh dill and lemon, then ties it together with olive oil and a generous tahini drizzle.

How to Prepare

Chop the lettuce and spread it over a wide plate.

Arrange the drained sardines on top of the lettuce.

Scatter over the sliced hot pepper, chopped dill and small pieces of lemon.

Squeeze lemon juice over the plate and drizzle with olive oil.

Finish with a generous drizzle of tahini, toss lightly at the table and serve with bread.
✦ Chef Noor's Tip
Tahini loves lemon — if the drizzle is too thick, loosen it with a squeeze of lemon juice instead of water for extra brightness.
