Quick Apple Puff Pastry
Apple rings tossed in honey and cinnamon, tucked into quick puff pastry and brushed with a coffee-milk glaze that bakes to a deep gold — finished with a snowfall of powdered sugar.

How to Prepare

Toss the apple rings with the honey and cinnamon.

Cut the puff pastry and shape it around the apple as you like.

Mix the milk with the instant coffee and brush over the tops.

Bake on the middle rack with top and bottom heat at 180°C for a few minutes until golden.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Brush the coffee-milk glaze thinly and evenly — it deepens the colour, so too much will brown the pastry before it cooks through.
