Creamy Mushroom Chicken

A quick weeknight chicken dinner in a rich, creamy mushroom sauce.

How to Prepare

In a pan, sear the chicken with the butter, black pepper, mixed spices and salt until golden and cooked through, then remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté the sliced mushrooms with the crushed garlic until softened.

Add the lemon juice and the cooking cream, stirring to combine.

Return the chicken to the pan and let it simmer in the cream sauce for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serve hot over white rice.

Chef Noor's Tip

For a richer sauce, let the cream reduce a little longer; a pinch of grated nutmeg pairs beautifully with the mushrooms.
