Meat Fingers with Caramelised Onion and Mashed Potato
A comforting plate that pairs rich meat with smooth mash and sweet onions.

How to Prepare

Mix the ground meat with the grated onion, black pepper, salt and mixed spice until well combined.

Shape the mixture into finger shapes.

Cook the meat fingers in a pan or oven until browned and cooked through.

In a separate pan, saute the sliced onion with a pinch of salt, black pepper and minced garlic until caramelised, then drizzle with pomegranate molasses.

For the mash: mash the boiled potatoes with butter, salt, black pepper and milk until smooth and creamy.

Spread the mash on a plate, arrange the meat fingers on top and finish with the caramelised onion. Serve hot.

Add a splash more milk to the mash if you prefer it extra creamy.
